In 2010 studeerde Tessa af als dierenarts aan de Universiteit van Utrecht. Sinds 2019 is zij Europees erkend radioloog bij het European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (ECVDI). 

Na haar opleiding tot dierenarts werkte zij een half jaar bij een Amsterdamse eerstelijns dierenkliniek. In 2011 begon ze bij het Medisch Centrum voor Dieren (MCD) bij de afdeling Orthopedie. Op deze afdeling leerde Tessa veel over orthopedische en neurologische aandoeningen en ontstond haar interesse in röntgenfotografie en CT- scans.

In 2013 maakte ze dan ook de overstap naar Radiologie en begon in het MCD aan haar specialisatie. In 2019 heeft ze haar examen succesvol afgerond en werd zij specialist radiologie. 

Als radioloog maakt Tessa vele röntgenfoto's, echo's, CT-scans en MRI-scans.

In 2010, Tessa graduated as a veterinarian from the University of Utrecht. Since 2019 she is a European accredited radiologist at the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (ECVDI).

After her training as a veterinarian, she worked for six months at an Amsterdam-based first-line veterinary clinic. In 2011 she started at the Medical Center for Animals (MCD) at the department of Orthopedics. In this department, Tessa learned a lot about orthopedic and neurological conditions and developed her interest in X-ray photography and CT scans.

In 2013, she therefore made the switch to Radiology and began her specialization in the MCD. In 2019, she successfully completed her exam and became a radiology specialist.

As a radiologist, Tessa performs many x-rays, ultrasounds, CT scans and MRI scans.
